Emmanuel Mutai made it a Kenyan double after winning the Virgin London Marathon in a new course record. Mutai's time of 2:04.38, beats the previous best of 2:05.10 set by Samuel Wanjiru in 2009 and also the fifth-fastest time ever.
Earlier, his compatriot Mary Keitany smashed her personal best to claim a commanding victory in the women's race.
I really enjoyed my 6th time covering the London Marathon. The weather was a little warm and sunny for those taking part, but ideal for those working and watching. I love working the marathon, its always a great atmosphere and everyone is so friendly, it makes working long hours easy. A few more favourites below.

"The photos were great – they were exactly what we were after in terms of capturing the networking, the high profile speakers, the Awards winners and also the fun of the Awards dinner. It was great to have such an involved photographer at the event capturing as much as possible and we would be very happy to use you again"
